SpecialItaly specializes in real estate services for discerning international clients, ranging from the sale of holiday properties to full property management and, above all, the creation of unique holiday homes in the heart of Italy. From our offices in Piegaro (PG), Umbria, our dedicated team of 10 brings together a passion for design, architecture, and authentic Italian living.

Since 2008, we have completed over 75 architectural and interior design projects, each developed in close collaboration with our clients. Our approach is highly personal: we embrace projects across all scales and budgets, exploring diverse styles to keep our creativity vibrant and our designs fresh. Every project in our design department is led by Domenico Casamassima and Rob Landeweerd, who personally shape the vision, while collaborating with the right technical professionals to ensure that every project fully complies with all regulations.

Our design philosophy is hands-on: Domenico and Rob personally lead the architectural vision of each project, collaborating with skilled technical professionals to ensure every detail meets all regulatory standards. This allows us to create spaces that are both visually compelling and supremely livable.

Our interiors strike a balance between traditional Umbrian and Italian styles and contemporary 21st-century living. We delight in blending high-street finds with exclusive designer pieces, adding a touch of serendipity through antiques, auction treasures, and one-of-a-kind local discoveries. Wherever possible, we work with local craftsmen, whose exceptional skill ensures that every detail, from bespoke furniture to artisanal finishes, is executed to the highest standard.
