Kitchen

The beautiful, eat-in, farmhouse-style kitchen in the main house has a raised fireplace for the cooler months that’s set between two sets of arched double doors to the garden. The herringbone cotto floor is the same as in the sitting room, as are the whitewashed ceiling beams, and there is a large pantry that leads to the utility room. The guesthouse kitchen is similar but slightly smaller, with doors out to the terrace.

Living room

The sitting room of the main house is a beautifully balanced room. Large and welcoming, with whitewashed ceiling beams, there are doors onto the garden as well as floor-to-ceiling windows with internal panelled shutters. The handmade dark cotto floor tiles are laid in a herringbone pattern and there’s a large, carved stone fireplace with a glass woodburner front. The sitting room in the guest house is simpler but equally elegant, with wooden beams, square cotto floor tiles and doors to the terrace.

Other rooms

Both houses have their own laundry rooms and there’s a pantry in the main house. A spacious utility room with its own bathroom sits below the pool. This versatile space can easily be converted into an additional guest suite. There’s a small tasting room for the estate’s olive oil.

The magnificent two-hectare Mediterranean garden is securely fenced and meticulously landscaped, with an integrated irrigation system.
