Squadre

A fabulous, light-filled six-bedroom property set in six hectares of private land with magnificent panoramic views.

Squadre is an exceptional property that sits on the brow of a hill not far from Todi, surrounded by six hectares of private land with incredible views of this beautiful, wooded landscape.

This is an unusual and exciting opportunity to buy a house that has been newly rebuilt, offering a blank canvas for the buyer to customise the interiors and landscape the garden to match their exact taste and vision.

Much of the old stone from the original house has been used in the rebuild and traditional features, such as the large fireplace in the sitting room, remain. The sustainable design includes solar-powered electricity, a spring-fed water supply and a large-capacity underground cistern for harvested rainwater.

The materials used are beautiful and include brick floors, wooden ceiling beams and copper drainpipes. The house is flooded with light from the large windows and glass doors, and two fireplaces make it cosy in the cooler months. The house sleeps ten in six bedrooms and includes lots of storage space.

There is a derelict outhouse (45sqm) close to the main building that has not been touched – it has no roof and the walls are falling down. The same footprint can be used as extra building allowance and is the perfect size for a guest house.

The ground surrounding the house has been levelled and offers another fabulous opportunity for the buyer to design a garden from scratch. There is the potential for the new owners to put in a pool, subject to planning consent.

Squadre is the ideal property for those looking for a blank canvas for their own interior and garden designs, in a particularly beautiful spot in the Umbrian hills.
