Bedrooms

There are three bedrooms: one in each of the two independent apartments on the first floor, and a principal bedroom on the ground floor with spectacular views over the pool.

Bathrooms

Each of the two first-floor apartments has an ensuite shower room. The principal bedroom on the ground floor also has an ensuite with a bathtub, a huge walk-in rainfall shower and a separate loo. There is a separate guest loo on the ground floor.

Kitchen

The large stainless-steel catering kitchen is at one end of the dining/living space and includes an island and double sinks. The tour de force is the rectangular, waist-height, open fireplace on the end wall that is tiled in the same green as the floor, with a traditional pizza oven to one side.

Living room

The ground floor is a large, open-plan space with green floor tiles and a large Bullerjan wood-burning stove. There are two distinct areas: a sitting and dining room with the kitchen at one end, looking onto the pool, and a bar area behind.

Other rooms

The large, light-filled ground floor offers fantastic flexibility in terms of usage and division of space, with the potential to put in a sauna.

Outside

A gravel drive leads to the back of the house which is built into the side of a hill. There are magnificent views from the front where the green floor tiles continue from the living room onto the veranda that stretches the width of the building and to the pool. Several sliding doors lead to this shaded spot where there is plenty of room for both dining and relaxing. The 20m x 4m pool follows the same lines and has a terrace at one end, perfect for sun loungers, and an outdoor shower. The first-floor apartments all have access to a roof terrace (where there's another outdoor shower) that wraps around three sides, the fourth being level with the drive. Shaded with sails in front of the apartments themselves, the views are incredible.

There are also excellent local wine and olive oil producers that offer tours and tastings and don’t miss out on truffle hunting.
